Welcome to Nowhere

What a remarkably beautiful work! It took ages to load on my awful internet connection, but it was more than worth the wait. Combined with the lovely music and atmospheric sounds of creaking gears, wind and birdsong, this is so gloriously hypnotic I just sat and let it wash over me for ages. The tiny, subtle eye movements of the girl and her animal are very effective and these, along with the delicate lighting changes and glowing motes of dust, serve to keep the viewer absorbed and drawn into the image.
To use an often abused and somewhat clichéd term, this is true multi-media art.
